This is the wonderful Sequel to Jade City and all I can say is you really need to pick up this series. I know when I first got approved for Jade War I had not realised that it was a sequel and I also felt a little be wary to read the books as they were pretty big and not my usual read. Oh boy was I wrong this book had everything a war with casualties but also you had a Family Saga.

Fonda Lee did an amazing job of creating such a world with strong characters and I can't wait to read the final book

For all the above reasons Jade War receives 4 stars.
